Well summer has arrived in the Rockies. For a while I thought we were all going to develop web feet from all of the rain, but alas, the sunny skies and hot temperatures are here!! Of course nothing is better in the summer than ice cream. Disclaimer, I think every season and every day is great for ice cream:)
This fun stamp is called Super Sundae and the sentiment is Good Old Summertime.
The background was created using an emboss resist technique and Distress Inks. The image was stamped onto Stamp masking paper and fussy cut out and then placed over top of the stamped image on the cardstock. Background stamp was stamped twice with the second stamp stamped slightly higher to give a second line. I embossed with white embossing powder. I used Post it Tape as a mask to create very sharp and clean lines between the colors. And of course a few sequins for some bling bling.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting today and hope your week is fantastically creative!

Super Sweet Sundae Card
June 20, 2015
|
| Hello everyone! Heidi, here today and I have a yummy sweet treat card to share with you. How many of you love to visit the ice cream shop or the local DQ for a treat? Or do you remember the ice cream trucks? Unfortunately, I think the ice cream trucks are becoming a thing of the past in many places. But I am sure many of us have great memories hearing the music from the ice cream truck and seeing it turn the corner to come down the street. Then making a mad dash into the house to get some money LOL.
Here is the card I designed using the Super Sundae stamp. This sundae looks so yummy with ice cream, chocolate, cool whip, and a cherry on top! I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then I colored the image with Copic markers.
Here is a close up of the image. I colored the ice cream to look like vanilla and strawberry. Then I colored the chocolate syrup and added some Glossy Accents on top. Once the image was colored I trimmed it down and added light pick cardstock for a mat. I added another mat with rose cardstock and a white paper doily. Then I adhered everything to a lite pink card base. I used some baby pink seam binding for a bow and I also added a small pearl white acrylic bow on top. To finish of the card I added some pale pink satin, medium pink, and moonshine sequins 2mm-4mm in size.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Heidi

Sweet Memories with Pink Ink Stamps!
03/06/15
Hello Pink Ink fans!
I have a cool card to share today created with a delicious ice cream sundae stamp from Pink Ink Stamp Co! A perfect treat for those warm summer days to come!
We actually haven't had any really hot weather yet. It's been a mild cool spring so far with a lot of rain. I have to admit I'm loving it. It could stay this way until fall as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a fan of heat and humidity, but I know it's coming... there goes my straight hair! haha!
I stamped the ice cream sunday and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto smooth white card stock, and colored them with Copic markers. I cut the colored panel out with a stitched rectangle die and mounted that onto a card base that I covered with the light blue dot paper. I added a few clear Pink Pretty Posh sequins to finish it off.

Sweet Memories!
April 14, 2015
Hello Friends! I was so excited when I received the newest releases from Pink Ink Stamps. Ice cream sundaes bring back really good memories for me and my family. Spending time with my daughter's and watching them have fun with my Dad are some of my best memories. So when I created these cards, I had a big smile on my face! LOL
For this card, I used the Super Sundae image colored with some Copic markers. I added the Sweet Memories sentiment, that I hand-cut into a small banner, along the bottom. This image is so cute!
For this card, I stamped the Single Scoop image and punched it out with my hand-held punches. I added the Sweet Memories sentiment along with some other fun embellishments! Sweet and simple cards bring a smile to every face just like these images bring back some really great memories!
Thanks for stopping by today!
