Good morning fabulous Pink Ink fans! I hope your summer is going well though it seems to be speeding by rapidly. Have you checked out the awesome new Fall/Winter release? You can check out the goodies HERE and purchase them online or in local stores.
I had a play around with the new stamp called Picket Fence Pumpkins.
The image was colored up with alcohol markers and a touch of colored pencils. I definitely love the rich colors of the Autumn season and this stamp is so perfect using a lot of different rich colors in the card composition.
I matted the image 3 times using one of my "can't live without" tools, the Perfect Layers tool. And added die cut maple leaves in the corner for more texture and some dimension.
For all of you Colorado Springs area Pink Ink fans be on the look out for a brand spankin new class at Simple Pleasures Stamp and Scrapbook featuring the new Fall/Winter release!
Thanks for stopping by today and hope your weekend is fabulous.

All About The Pie!
7/29/2015
|
Hello everyone! Heidi, here today and I have a card to share with you using one of the beautiful stamps from the July release.
Throughout the summer months everyone is having picnics and family reunions and I am sure there are many different kinds of pies and yummy desserts included. I love this stamped image with all of the pies! I stamped the All About The Pie #2251K image on to Kraft cardstock using Memento Espresso Truffle ink. Then I colored the image using Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils.
Here is a close up of the colored image. I added some glossy accents to the whipped topping on one of the pies and sprinkled Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter on top for a little bit of sparkle. I also added the glitter on the Sweet die cut (Echo Park). Then I added some glossy accents to the cherries on the top of one of the pies and to the cherries on the die cut(Memory Box). I used labels Thirty-Six die from Spellbinders to create the layers die cut shapes.
I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and staying cool! Thanks so much for joining me today!

Blue Ribbon Birthday!
with its abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, I thought Pink Ink's sweet
Blue Ribbon Birthday #2243K would make a fun end-of-summer birthday
card!
I stamped the image with Copic-friendly Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored the fun veggie and fruit images with these Copic Sketch markers: The image was die cut with a rounded rectangle die and popped up with foam tape over the background I created to resemble a quilt, which I naturally thought this prize-winning county fair canning image would go with! The fishtail flag die cut pieces were colored with the same dark blue (B29) marker as used in the image, so it would match and accent the image nicely. The jars were colored with the lightest BG000 marker and clear glitter pen was used to accent the words on the canning jars: Doesn't this colorful image make a festive birthday card?! I just love Peggy's whimsical illustration style! Christmas in July!
07/14/2015

Hello Pink Ink Fans! Debbie Seyer here today to share with you a Christmas in July card. Believe it or not, now is a good time to start thinking and even making your Christmas cards. I always tell myself that I should start now and will have a nice stash of cards ready at Christmas.....I don't always listen to myself but you know how that goes! LOL I was so excited to when I got the July 2015 Pink Ink Stamps new releases from Peggy. The image and sentiment I used in my card today are definitely my favorite of the release! It was hard to get a good picture of the gold mirror cardstock I used behind the Angel On High image but I think you get the picture!
I stamped the Angel On High image using Encore gold pigment ink and sprinkled on some clear embossing powder. After I heat set the powder, I die cut her into an oval. I also did the same with the Peace On Earth Sentiment.
The finished card measures 5 x 7" so it will require extra postage. I do send a few extra special cards to those family and friends who appreciate them and there is plenty of room to write a quick note inside!
Thanks for stopping by today!

The Simple Things with Pink Ink Stamps!
01/07/15
Hello Pink Ink fans!
I have a new card to share with you created with a beautiful stamp from Pink Ink Stamp Company!
I really had fun coloring this one! I used my Zig Clean Color Brushes and got a little carried away. I was afraid that it looked like the perhaps the pot of flowers was exploding with all of those little dots I put around it, but after letting it sit for awhile and then going back to look at it, I decided I liked it :)

I stamped this with hybrid black ink and watercolored it with Zig Clean Color brushes. I'm loving those!! After it dried I added a few highlights with my white gel pen, then cut it out using Stitched Rectangle dies, and mounted it with Fun Foam to a top folded card.
Here's a close up view of the explosion going on! I just thought the dots were fun :)
