Welcome Fall by Sharon Harnist

Happy Fall, all! Sharon here today, helping to ring in October and what is  supposed to be Fall for most of the country ... but it's still just a tad bit warm  down south where I live!  Maybe this fun card will help spread a little  cooler weather cheer! I used Pink Ink's beautiful new Picket Fence Pumpkins for this breezy  scene and stamped it onto an Inchie Arts 2" x 4" matboard rectangle, then  watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I absolutely love  all the fine details Peggy put into the illustration of this scene ... so warm  and welcoming! The watercolored matboard was adhered over a die cut tree (also watercolored and painted with clear Wink of Stella shimmer), attached to a cream card base. This picturesque scene really makes your Fall and Thanksgiving cards and projects a breeze to create! Hello friends! I have a new card to share with you created with a beautiful stamp from Pink Ink Stamp Company! Their Fall and Winter release is available now, and there are some really pretty images! I chose a cute fall scene from the new release called Picket Fence Pumpkins for this card. Such a detailed and fun image to color! Isn't that a beautiful little Fall scene? I just love it! I stamped it with Hybrid Licorice Black ink from MFT , and watercolored it with my Koi Watercolors. After it was dry, I cut it out with a stitched rectangle dye. I stamped a subtle pattern onto some kraft card stock, and cut that out with a stitched rectangle die just one size larger. I mounted them all onto a white card base with foam tape.  And here's a little bit closer view of the watercoloring and the beautiful detail in the stamp! Welcome Fall

Good morning fabulous Pink Ink fans!  I hope your summer is going well though it seems to be speeding by rapidly.  Have you checked out the awesome new Fall/Winter release?  You can check out the goodies HERE and purchase them online or in local stores.   I had a play around with the new stamp called Picket Fence Pumpkins. The image was colored up with alcohol markers and a touch of colored pencils. I definitely love the rich colors of the Autumn season and this stamp is so perfect using a lot of different rich colors in the card composition. I matted the image 3 times using one of my "can't live without" tools, the Perfect Layers tool.  And added die cut maple leaves in the corner for more texture and some dimension.
