| Hello, Pink Ink Fans -- Sharon Harnist back with you again today! Here it is June 1st and Father's Day is right around the corner. I thought I'd better be prepared for the day, with a card for my husband! Golf is his favorite past time, so I thought this new The Golfing Line stamp image from Pink Ink would be perfect for him!
The fun background was created by airbrushing Copic G09 onto white cardstock,
through a stencil I thought resembled golf balls! After removing the stencil, I
airbrushed lighter Copic G03 over the white background:
The golf image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah 110 Lb. Solar White cardstock and colored with these Copic markers:
I know the orange golf balls may seem like an odd choice of colors, but that's the color my husband prefers! That's the beauty of stamping and being able to custom color things exactly as you wish!
I stamped, colored, and cut out an additional golf bag, then popped it up with foam tape:
I love all the fine golfing details in this image!

Dream Cruise by Sharon Harnist
| Hello Pink Ink fans -- Sharon Harnist here with you again today! Spring is just around the corner and I'm looking forward to this Summer, when my family will be taking a cruise! My excitement for that trip definitely inspired today's project ... I'm using Pink Ink's new Dream Cruise:
To create this card, I stamped the Dream Cruise onto Copic X-Press It Blending
Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then did some Copic airbrushing
to create the background, using masks:
For complete stepped-out details on how to create the airbrushed background, you can visit my blog post HERE.
Next, I colored the ship and banner images with these Copic markers:
For the tiny flags and other fine details of the pretty ship, I used finer point Atyou Spica Glitter Pens to color them and give a pretty sparkle to the ship and water!
The finished piece was accented along the top and bottom with borders of glitter paper:
Thanks so much for joining me today!

Summer Sketch Book
| Hello Pink Ink Fans -- Sharon Harnist back with you today, with a fun Summer project! My youngest daughter has always loved drawing and has taken a renewed interest in it again lately. To help nurture her talent, I customized a sketch book for her using most all of Pink Ink's fabulous latest summer stamp release! I love all the beachy, summery images and hope these will help inspire my daughter over the summer! And since this is a sketch book, I thought it would be appropriate to keep the images stamped in just black ink. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and was very pleased with how well the images stamped out on the leather cover! Don’t you love all the amazing details in these images?!! On the inside cover page I stamped Beach Cabanas #2274L and colored it with Copic markers: Fun, aren't they?!! I also tested out coloring Flowery Flip Flops #2272J on the back leather cover, and think it turned out pretty well! You just have to experiment with your color selection, when coloring onto a darker surface like this leather. You could use kraft cardstock to practice, before committing to a cover like this. Thanks so much for joining me today -- Happy Summer! ~ Sharon Pink Ink products used, available online through Ellen Hutson LLC: -----SUPPLIES----- Or check Pink Ink's website to find a local store near you that carries our stamps, or to order wholesale. |

New Beginnings Bulbs by Sharon Harnist
01/03/2016
|
| Happy March, everyone! Sharon here today sharing a Spring home decor project with you, using more of Pink Ink's latest stamp release! You can see the entire new release HERE on Pink Ink's website. to display, so I made a watercolor background on a 4" x 6" piece of watercolor paper using Tumbled Glass Distress Reinker and Copic Opaque White for the clouds. Next, I stamped Pink Ink's Row of Bulbs and New Beginnings sentiment with Versamark Ink onto an Inchie Arts 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" Art Board and gold heat embossed it. I always love how nice and crisp Pink Ink's red rubber stamp images stamp and emboss -- such pretty fine details! The pots and flowers were colored with these Copic markers: Hyacinth: BV02, BV04, YG61, YG63, Y15, Y17 Daffodils: Y15, Y38, YG03, YG07 Tulips: RV63, RV66, YG61, YG63, BV02, BV04 Shadows: C0, C2 Copic Opaque White was used to make dots on the yellow pot, fill in the white pot, and make stripes/highlights on the purple pot. The stamped Art Square was mounted with foam tape to the watercolor background and anchored with a thin strip of aqua stripe patterned paper, then the piece was inserted into the photo holder. = Easy-peasy new Spring artwork!
