Floppy Spring Bunny by Sharon Harnist

Are you ready for Spring? This sweet Pink Ink Floppy Bunny #1105J seems
to be!

I thought he would look cute sitting in some pretty Spring grass. This is
how I colored him:

I stamped him in soft Memento Gray Flannel ink (as opposed to black) onto Essentials by Ellen 100 Lb. Smooth Bristol cardstock. To keep him mainly white, I used Copic N0 and N1 grays to give him some shading. R000 and R00 were used to color his ears, nose, cheeks, hands and feet.

To give his ribbon a little dimension, I stamped another ribbon separately, colored it with B21 and B23, cut it out and adhered it in place. Don't you love all the fine details of this image, right down to the loopy ribbon?

To make the grass, I used darker Copic YG25 to flick and draw in the grass line behind the bunny and extending to the right, past his leg. I also flicked some green up onto bunny's leg, to give the illusion of him sitting in real grass. Then I used lighter Copic YG03 to soften the line and extended the color downwards, again using a flicking motion to create the look of blades of grass. Copic B000 was airbrushed around bunny, to create a sky.

After die cutting the colored bunny with a stitched circle die, I popped him up over a soft blue watercolored sky card base. The sweet "Love you" sentiment is from Pink Ink's To The Moon sentiment. Just the top part of it was inked and silver heat embossed onto a stitched banner die cut, making it an adorable Valentine's Day or general love card! Clear sequins scattered on the background complete the card.

This sweet bunny works wonderfully for Valentine's Day, Spring, Baby announcements or thank you cards ... Isn't he adorable?!!

Thanks for joining me today!  ~ Sharon
